Michael Zodorozny’s new video for the insanely catchy chant Land of the Vole hits like a forgotten reel dug out of some basement vault where the paint smells faintly of ozone. It’s a trip, but not the kind that pats you on the head and tells you to relax. This thing jitters with hand-painted life: brushstrokes twitch, colors tilt, voles scurry underground, and the whole frame moves like it’s trying to breathe on its own. Zodorozny wanders through this underground labyrinth, it’s all like a time-bent traveler who accidentally stepped into a page torn from his own subconscious. One moment he’s anchored in the painted terrain; the next he’s swallowed by its contours, as if the Mary Poppins chalk-drawing moment grew teeth and developed an agenda.

“Land of the Vole” feels like the logical offspring of his history: Crash Course in Science’s DIY voltage, the Pyramid Club’s wild-eyed performance nights, Test Pilot’s fascination with perception and inner drift…but it never settles for nostalgia. These paintings lunge forward like they’ve been waiting decades for someone to finally animate their secrets. Every frame has the energy of a postcard from a parallel dimension, stamped and mailed by a version of Michael who never left the easel.

Beneath the lacquer of swirling color and jittering brushstrokes lies the real hook: this saga isn’t told from some heroic perch above the clouds, it’s rooted in the dim borough beneath our feet, where a humble vole stumbles into cosmic catastrophe. Down there, in the earthy hush where roots tangle like old wiring, an alien craft burrows into the soil. And instead of humans scrambling to interpret the intrusion, the universe lets the vole take the first look. Or “look,” at least, in whatever way its tiny, near-sightless body can register a visitor from the void.

That’s the pulse running under the paint. The video paints the encounter not as a disaster but a strange communion. The vole, this unassuming ground-dweller, becomes our accidental emissary; its burrow becomes the first embassy for something unearthly. Zodorozny wanders through these hand-painted realms like he’s trespassing through the vole’s newfound visions: slipping through warped tunnels, drifting across impossible color fields, stepping lightly through scenes that tremble as if the tremors of the crash are still echoing. He’s not leading the story; he’s translating it, following the vole’s senses into a world that reshapes itself faster than meaning can catch up.

Land of the Vole was created with confident propulsion behind the images. But the star here is the paint: thick strokes that warp into landscapes, faces that blur into scenery, little visual riddles tucked inside corners like mischievous gremlins. By the end, you feel like you’ve traveled through a gallery where the art suddenly broke free and started muttering its own thoughts.

Los Angeles comes alive after dark. In warehouses, studio lofts, and DIY venues across the city, artists and outsiders gather under dim lights and fog to create something that feels urgent and real. Here, punk collectives, synth experimenters, and visual artists transform industrial spaces into temporary cathedrals of sound and expression: scenes built from collaboration, not commerce. Around every corner, there are the iconic haunts run by punks and goths: spaces like Das Bunker, Bar Sinister, and Club Decades, where the pulse of the underground still beats loud enough to rattle the walls. It’s in this network of DIY sanctuaries and late-night stages that Darkwave Records took form: a label born from the city’s creative underground, where community means everything and every performance feels like a declaration of intent.

What began as a small circle of musicians helping each other navigate the city’s creative grind has evolved into one of L.A.’s most vital independent networks: a label, media studio, and booking arm that operates as one ecosystem. Darkwave Records carries forward the punk spirit of mutual aid while embracing the cinematic allure of post-punk and darkwave. Its artists share a vision of art as connection.

In this interview, we speak with the team behind Darkwave Records about the label’s DIY origins, its expanding global reach, and how it continues to prove that the underground is thriving.

How did Darkwave Records begin? What inspired you to create a label and creative hub rooted in the underground scene, and how has that vision evolved since its inception?

It really started from a spirit of collaboration. When I was working on my project, The XRAY5, I met a lot of artists and promoters in the Los Angeles scene who genuinely wanted to help one another — not in a transactional way, but with real community energy. One of the first people who stood out in that sense was Matt Rozo from Fevr. We both shared the same mindset: that we could create something larger than just a band or a release — a home base for independent artists doing darkwave, post-punk, and synth-driven music.
Over time, that idea evolved from a small collaboration network into a full creative ecosystem — with a record label, booking arm, and media studio all working together to support artists who might otherwise get overlooked.

Los Angeles has long been a breeding ground for experimental music. What is it about the current L.A. scene that makes it such fertile ground for post-punk and darkwave artists today?

L.A. has this rare mix of grit and glamour — it’s cinematic but still raw. There’s a real creative urgency here, especially in the underground. Artists aren’t afraid to blur genres or bring visual art, fashion, and performance into their music. You can play a darkwave show in a warehouse one night and a gallery space the next. There is a distinct spirit of punk DIY, artistic expression, and varied cultural backgrounds that create a vibrant scene. 

Your first compilation, LA After Dark, focused heavily on local talent. Why was it essential to start with artists from Los Angeles, and how did that project help strengthen the city’s creative network?

It felt right to start at home. LA After Dark was about capturing a moment in time — the pulse of the L.A. underground right now. These are artists – Fevr, Kyd Barrett, Blood Handsome, Vick Vapors, Grizz, Puppet, Holy Water, XRAY5 – all have been building and contributing to the scene show by show, collaboration by collaboration. We’ve created a great bond with a number of different venues and promoters throughout LA and the Central Valley that bring events to the public. Bringing these artists together on one vinyl created a snapshot of what’s happening here. It also helped connect people who maybe had seen each other’s names on flyers but never collaborated before. It turned individual efforts into a collective statement.

The CD edition expands to include artists from across the U.S. and abroad. How do you maintain a sense of connection between these different scenes? What unites them under the Darkwave Records banner?

Even though the artists come from different regions — from LA to Mexico City to Europe — they all share a similar creative DNA. There’s this honesty in their music, an edge, and a connection to that darker romantic aesthetic. We keep the connection alive through constant collaboration — remixes, cross-promotions, shared visuals — so it feels like one extended family rather than separate scenes. Echos of the Night CD compilation will show that with a varied mix of artists- Antipole, Vick Vapors, Casa de Brujas, Redder Moon, Meldamor & Fevr – the list goes on.  

When you’re deciding which artists to work with, what qualities or philosophies resonate most with you? How do you define the “Darkwave Records” sound or spirit?

It’s less about fitting into a strict genre box and more about authenticity. We look for artists who bring emotion, texture, and good art to the stage. The Darkwave spirit is about creating something that lingers — both sonically and visually. However, we also look beyond that, searching for a sincere willingness to support the community, the scene, fellow artists, and contribute to a sense of family. This isn’t about one artist, but about all. Having a positive mindset helps to that end. Having lived in the LA music scene, we’ve seen the negative energy that end careers of indie artists before they’ve started. We want to purposely counter that with a supportive community that will help establish artist and collaboration, bringing people together. 

Darkwave Records now encompasses not just music releases but also visual media and marketing. How did that multidisciplinary model come about, and what advantages does it bring to your artists?

It came naturally. Collectively, we’ve spent years in digital media and marketing, and have seen how many indie artists struggled to bridge the creative and promotional sides. So we built Darkwave to be both a creative hub and a business platform. We can handle a photo shoot, design an album cover, run digital campaigns, and book live events — all under one roof. It helps artists focus on their craft while still getting the professional support they need to grow.

Is there a visual language you aim to convey through Darkwave Records? How important is visual storytelling to the label’s identity?

Visual storytelling is a huge part of what we do. The darkwave and post-punk aesthetic is very tactile — it’s about contrast and mood. We lean into that with distressed typography, cinematic lighting, and design that feels both analog and modern. Every release is treated like a visual narrative — from the album art to the social media rollout — and we collaborate closely with artists so that their visual world matches their sound.

Could you tell us about your live branch, Darkwave Live? What motivated you to enter bookings and event production, and how does it complement the label’s other work?

Darkwave Live came out of necessity — artists needed shows, and we wanted to make sure they had the right stages and audiences. It’s become the performance arm of the label, connecting acts through curated events. It’s also a way to keep the community engaged beyond streaming — to create real, physical experiences where people can connect with the music. We have recently started to recruit some of our artists to head this effort, Jake Desrochers (Holy Water) will head the team with help from a couple other folks from the Darkwave family, Angel Chacón (Elder Goth) and Henrik Strater. Jake will be taking the lead on efforts to book tours for our core artists in 2026 and will provide outreach to other booking agencies from both the States as well as in Europe. 

What role do local venues, promoters, and collectives play in sustaining the underground right now?

They’re the backbone. Without small venues and independent promoters, there’s no underground. What’s great now is that audiences are more intentional — they want the live connection. There’s been a shift toward authenticity; people show up for the energy, not the algorithms. We recently partnered with M81 Presents and our artists and space at the Gothoween events that toured Las Vegas, Bakersfield, and L.A. The experience at each of the shows was fantastic and the feedback on our vinyl compilation and merch was great. The underground is thriving because it’s real and community-driven. 

Independent artists often face the challenge of balancing creativity with logistics. How does Darkwave Records assist them in navigating this process while preserving their artistic autonomy?

We act as a support system, not a gatekeeper. Artists retain control of their music publishing rights— we just help them translate their vision into something market-ready. Whether it’s mastering, creating vinyl,  CDs, or marketing, we make sure the business side enhances their art instead of diluting it.

Your label continues to emphasize vinyl and tangible formats. Why is physical media still essential to your strategy?

Physical media is part of the experience. When you hold a vinyl or CD, you’re engaging with the art in a deeper way — the artwork, the ritual of playing it. It’s collectible and timeless. In a digital era, that tangibility creates connection, and it aligns perfectly with the darkwave ethos. Many of our first experiences buying records are what drives that. A fan remembers the albums they bought and why. That experience is special to them and it resonates over time because you can hold the album in your hands. There’s a closer connection with the bands when you have that. 

With in-house creative services, live events, and label operations, you’ve built what feels like an ecosystem. How do all these pieces work together to sustain the underground community?

It’s all about synergy. A band might start with a release, then we film a live video, promote it through our agency, and book them a show. Each piece supports the other, and that loop helps everyone grow together. Some critics may not see us as a “real label”, but we are what a label should be. We’re a collection of artists that have created a network built to sustain creativity long-term. It’s not easy organizing a collaborative, but we know that the key is to have the right people in place, all with the same destination in mind. 

Have any interesting collaborations or joint projects emerged from your roster?

Definitely! We have a few remix collaborations that are brewing, guest appearances, and even full co-releases come out of our roster. When you put the right people in the same mind groove, creativity naturally multiplies. It’s one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. More plans are developing for other projects that I’m not able to disclose yet, but they’re all very exciting and I expect the fans will love them. 

Now that you’re connecting artists from different regions, how do you see Darkwave Records contributing to a more global darkwave and post-punk community?

We want to be a bridge. There’s so much incredible darkwave happening across Latin America, Europe, Canada, and the U.S., and we’re connecting those dots — giving international artists a platform to reach new audiences while keeping the underground roots intact.

What’s next for Darkwave Records?

We’ve got new releases coming from Holy Water – Contrast, Vick Vapors – Gave It My All, along with more from all of our core artists – Grizz, Blood Handsome, Fevr, XRAY5, Puppet, Kyd Barrette’s debut album. However, we are also going to work on the next CD compilation, Vol. III as well. That means we’re looking for more like-minded bands from all over the place that share our vision. 

It’s important to say that our inspiration comes from all of those early record labels that helped launch important music and artists: Factory Records, 4AD, Beggars Banquet, IRS Records, 415 Records, Dischord Records – so many more.

Now that we’ve formed the vision and put ourselves out there, we hope that the community will continue to support us. We want to be around next year… and the year after that!

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, the annual Dark Ceremony Festival returns to Houston’s White Oak Music Hall for an evening of old-school gothic rock and post-punk, drawing together multiple generations of the scene for an evening of old-school gothic rock and post-punk.

This year’s initial lineup features Fields of the Nephilim, She Past Away, Pink Turns Blue, and TRAITRS — with more artists still to be announced. Each band arrives as an icon in their own right, spanning the genre’s early foundations to its modern vanguard.

Headlining the festival is the long-awaited return of the UK gothic rock outlaws Fields of the Nephilim. It has been many years since the band last performed in the United States, making their appearance a rare and momentous occasion. Their 1987 debut Dawnrazor introduced their unmistakable fusion of Western occultism, ritual atmosphere, and Carl McCoy’s desert-scorched baritone. A year later came The Nephilim, home to the immortal single “Moonchild”, solidifying the band’s mythic status. Then, in 1990, the band released Elizium — an expansive, otherworldly work that opened with the cathedral-sized radiance of “For Her Light”. To witness Fields of the Nephilim in 2026 is to see a group whose influence continues to echo across decades of the dark underground.



Balancing this historic return are two defining forces of the new darkwave generation. Turkey’s She Past Away bring their entrancing atmosphere — serrated guitars, cold electronics, and vocals delivered like a midnight invocation. Toronto duo TRAITRS add a modern, emotional edge, their bleak romanticism pulsing with urgency and dread. Together, they represent the wave of artists reshaping dark music for the present moment.

Counterbalancing this is the enduring presence of the old-school stalwarts who helped define post-punk’s emotional and sonic vocabulary. Germany’s Pink Turns Blue deliver the kind of bittersweet, knife-clean melodies that have influenced generations — tracks like “Walking on Both Sides” and “Your Master Is Calling” remain cornerstones of the genre. Alongside Fields of the Nephilim, they ground the festival in decades of uncompromising expression.

In this configuration, every act on the bill is an icon — whether carrying the torch from the early era or igniting the flame for a new one. Dark Ceremony 2026 presents a rare generational cross-section of the goth and post-punk continuum: the legends who built the foundation, and the modern forces propelling it into the future.

Στις 11 Οκτωβρίου 2025 το θρυλικό βρετανικό gothic rock συγκρότημα The Nosferatu επιστρέφει στην Αθήνα, μετά από μια εξαιρετικά επιτυχημένη λατινοαμερικανική περιοδεία, κατά την οποία επισκέφθηκε το Μεξικό, την Κόστα Ρίκα, το Περού, τη Χιλή και τη Βραζιλία και πρόκειται να εμφανιστεί στο Amphi Festival και το Wave Gothic Treffen Festival το 2025.
 
Οι The Nosferatu είναι ένα βρετανικό γοτθικό ροκ συγκρότημα που επιδίδεται σε ξεσηκωτικούς ροκ ύμνους, με βαριές κιθάρες και περίτεχνες ενορχηστρώσεις, σε συνδυασμό με τα χαρακτηριστικά βαρύτονα φωνητικά του είδους.
Οι The Nosferatu σχηματίστηκαν από τις στάχτες της αρχικής εποχής Rise των Nosferatu, ενός συγκροτήματος που σχηματίστηκε το 1987. Το συγκρότημα κατέχει μια θρυλική θέση στη gothic rock σκηνή και είναι διάσημο για την κινηματογραφική του προσέγγιση σε κομμάτια όπως τα “Rise”, “Dark Angel” και “Alone”.

Μετά από ένα συγκλονιστικό καλοκαιρινό πρώτο εγχείρημα τον Ιούλιο του 2023 στη Τεχνόπολη του Δήμου Αθηναίων και την επιτυχημένη indoor εκδοχή του τον χειμώνα του 2024 στο Fuzz Live Music Club, η ομάδα του Death Disco επιστρέφει στις αρχές του Φθινοπώρου του 2025. Με headliners τη Νew Wave ποιήτρια και πρωτεργάτη της ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής Αnne Clark από τη μια, και τον Peter Hook, τον ίσως σημαντικότερο μπασίστα όλων των εποχών και τον μοναδικό άνθρωπο στη γη που κρατάει ζωντανό το πνεύμα των Joy Division, το Death Disco βάζει με το καλημέρα τις βάσεις για ένα ακόμα άχαστο διήμερο Open Air Festival.

H Anne Clark, έχοντας στη φαρέτρα της μια εντυπωσιακή δισκογραφία και μερικά από τα πιο εμβληματικά singles όλων των εποχών (με μπροστάρη το απόλυτο club hit “Οur Darkness” που μέχρι και σήμερα βρίσκει με την ίδια ευκολία τον χώρο του στα σκοτεινά αλλά και στα ηλεκτρονικά / techno dancefloors) και με την ώθηση που της έδωσε η πρόσφατη sold out ευρωπαϊκή της περιοδεία, επιστρέφει στην Αθήνα με full band,17 ολόκληρα χρόνια μετά την τελευταία της επίσκεψη.

O Peter Hook, με τη δουλειά του στους Joy Division και τους Νew Order να θεωρείται αξεπέραστη, έρχεται με τη μπάντα του τους Peter Hook and Τhe Light, να μας παρουσιάσει ένα σετ αποκλειστικά βασισμένο σε αυτά τα δύο μεγαθήρια της post punk / new wave / synth pop μουσικής. Μαζί τους ένα ακόμα εμβληματικό post punk σχήμα του Μanchester, οι Chameleons. Ένα από τα πιο επιδραστικά και ταυτόχρονα παραγκωνισμένα σχήματα της εναλλακτικής μουσικής των 80’s, που στις μέρες μας βρίσκει την αναγνώριση που του αξίζει με μπάντες σαν τους Interpol και τους Oasis να τους αναφέρουν σαν μεγάλη τους επιρροή και να θεωρούνται πλέον μια από τις μεγαλύτερες post punk μπάντες όλων των εποχών.

Το νέο αίμα της σκηνής εκπροσωπείται επάξια με τους Buzz Kull του Αυστραλού Marc Dwyer. Mετά τη sold out εμφάνισή τους στις αρχές του 2024, επιστρέφουν στην Αθήνα με το μοναδικό ΕBM / Industrial / Cold Wave δημιούργημά τους, ότι πιο φρέσκο και καινοτόμο έχει να προσφέρει η σύγχρονη “dark” μουσική. 

Η πρώτη πεντάδα συγκροτημάτων, συμπληρώνεται με τους Γερμανούς Κlangstabil, που επιστρέφουν το 2025 στη συναυλιακή δράση για να αποδείξουν σε όλο το κόσμο και από σκηνής γιατί θεωρούνται το κορυφαίο σχήμα της IDM / Electro μουσικής.

Το Σάββατο 20 και τη Κυριακή 21 Σεπτεμβρίου 2025, η Αθήνα θα είναι και πάλι στο συναυλιακό επίκεντρο της “σκοτεινής” μουσικής. Με ένα line up που θα κάνει και πάλι τα κεφάλια της εναλλακτικής σκηνής να γυρίσουν προς τη χώρα μας, το Death Disco Open Air 2025 θα είναι το απόλυτο εγχώριο – και ένα από τα σημαντικότερα παγκοσμίως – συναυλιακό γεγονός της σκοτεινής σκηνής μέσα στο 2025. Το Σάββατο 1 Νοεμβρίου, το εντυπωσιακά δραστήριο ελληνικό fan club τους υποδέχεται για άλλη μια φορά στο Death Disco τους μοναδικούς Solar Fake για μία δυνατή εμφάνιση γεμάτη ηλεκτρονική ενέργεια, σκοτεινή pop αισθητική και έντονο συναίσθημα.
 
Το αγαπημένο electro project του Sven Friedrich επιστρέφει στην Ελλάδα για να μας παρασύρει σε μια βραδιά γεμάτη πάθος, ρυθμό και ένταση.
 

Οι Solar Fake είναι ένα από τα σημαντικότερα συγκροτήματα της ευρωπαϊκής dark electro/synthpop σκηνής. Δημιουργήθηκαν το 2007 από τον Sven Friedrich, γνωστό από τους Dreadful Shadows και Zeraphine, και από τότε έχουν διαγράψει μια σταθερά ανοδική πορεία.
Ο ήχος τους συνδυάζει επιδέξια τα στοιχεία της μελωδικής synthpop με την επιθετικότητα της EBM και του industrial, δημιουργώντας ένα μοναδικό ηχητικό αποτύπωμα που είναι ταυτόχρονα χορευτικό και συναισθηματικά φορτισμένο.
Με εξαιρετικές κυκλοφορίες όπως τα “Another Manic Episode”, “You Win. Who Cares?” και το πρόσφατο “Don’t Push This Button”, έχουν εδραιωθεί ως ένα από τα πιο επιδραστικά σχήματα του είδους.
Οι ζωντανές τους εμφανίσεις είναι εκρηκτικές, με τον Sven Friedrich να οδηγεί το κοινό σε μια έντονη μουσική εμπειρία. Οι Solar Fake έχουν εμφανιστεί σε μεγάλα φεστιβάλ όπως το M’era Luna, Amphi και Wave-Gotik-Treffen, ενώ έχουν περιοδεύσει σε όλη την Ευρώπη – και όχι μόνο.

Έχουν στενή σχέση με τους Solar Fake καθώς έχουν περιοδεύσει μαζί το 2019 και το 2022.
 

Οι EMPIRE IN DUST είναι το ντουέτο δημιούργημα του παραγωγού και τραγουδιστή Manuel Mundt.
Ο Manuel περιγράφει τη μουσική τους σαν ένα μείγμα future pop,EBM,darkwave και synth rock.
Μέχρι στιγμής έχουν κυκλοφορήσει το άλμπουμ ‘Α Place To Rest’

We're happy to announce the cooperation with the german band DEAD BEES IN BOURBON for their debut album to be released in autumn this year.

If you like Post Punk, Wave and Indie Rock, you most likely will like DEAD BEES IN BOURBON. In the classic band line-up (Drums, Bass,
Guitar) paired with electronic sequences and soundscapes, DEAD BEES IN BOURBON create their dark, sometimes rough but always catchy and harmonious music with a unique female voice.

On March 28, 2025, RobSoul will release their first single "Feuertanz" (Fire Dance).

The singer and composer Robert Eberl continues his musical journey after having to give up his band "Soulimage" in the fall of 2023 with a heavy heart. After a creative break of just three months, Rob was blessed by the muse again and began to write rock songs with German lyrics. The result is a musical mix of various rock genres with fat and driving guitars, provided by guitarist Alex Ahle. Alex has been with RobSoul since the beginning of 2025 and has further arranged Rob's compositions and, with his musicality, ensured the typical character of RobSoul.

The music is at home in German-language rock / metal and the single track "Feuertanz" with its catchy chorus immediately goes straight into one’s ears and quickly gets stuck in one’s head.

In 2001, THANATEROS released their debut album, “The First Rite” – a work about magic, the worship of nature, old gods and shamanism. Even though this theme has always accompanied the five dark rockers, THANATEROS’ new work, “Tranceforming”, is a more impressive continuation of their first album than ever before. As if there were less than 23 years between the two releases.

The title “Tranceforming” is fitting. A play on words that, on the one hand, stands for bringing about a shamanic trance in which the practitioner goes on a dream journey, leaves his body and gets in touch with the spirit world. And, on the other hand, it includes transition, change, transformation. Aspects to which everything and everyone is subjected to, on both the small and large scales.

Since "Tranceforming" also impresses with a powerful, balanced and harmonious production, the new THANATEROS work certainly represents a milestone in the band's long-standing work and should also provide a lot of joy live on stage.

ECHOZONE is thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with MARTINÉ from Aachen, whose musical style is best described as an extravagant and compelling fusion of EBM and Electropop. Since the beginning of 2022, MARTINÉ has exclusively presented his musical work under his own name.

The studio album "Nichts währt ewig" will already be released by ECHOZONE in the spring of 2024, promising the aforementioned blend of EBM and Electropop, with a strong focus on dancefloor-oriented tracks.

As part of this collaboration, single releases and accompanying music videos are also in the pipeline. The video single "Macht der Stimme" will be released on November 3rd, ready to hypnotize club-goers with its technoid sounds, compelling everyone to dance relentlessly.

After a long time there is new music from the Netherlands in the form of the video single "Don't Pray".

The lyrics of this track are a powerful commentary on the hypocrisy and emptiness of religious institutions and the people who lead them. The band's use of strong imagery and striking metaphors paints a vivid picture of their message, making it impossible to ignore.

The lyrics are delivered with a raw and emotional intensity that perfectly captures the frustration and disillusionment of the song's subject, encapsulating the band's disdain for the phoniness and insincerity of those in power. The idea of composing a song together gave rise to a whole project: The Grab Society. Ulf Müller (Projekt Ich, M.U.N.T Connection, VOUL, SMOTCH, U.M. Fiedel, Tränenwelten, Mission Zanzibar, 2MBK) and Manfred Thomaser (!distain, Arsine Tibé, DEMOKRATIE, The Independent Season) dig and reach for electro, pop, wave and experiment. Linguistic wit + word acrobatics, paired with electronic club sounds - sometimes hard, sometimes soft!

Originally as a solo project by Luke J.B. Rafka brought to life in 2010 for the public, it has now grown into a grandiose 2-man project. While Luke puts world events into words without inhibition V-nerV has been providing the electronic background since 2016. electronic background in the form of his compositions.

The first single "Spiegel der Gesellschaft" will be released on February 24th with the original song, a club edit and remixes by Relate, Superikone, ANTIAGE, Das(X)Periment and U.M. Fiedel and the first partby the song "Ein Gespräch zwischen Sonne & Erde". Parallel to the single, a video will be released which was created by Maik E. Baptist.

Further single releases are planned for the rest of the year.

We are happy to announce the release of WINTER's new studio album "Looking Further Back" in cooperation with Wintergothic Records in April 2023.

This time, "Looking Further Back" presents newly mixed highlights from earlier times as well, but not exclusively. In fact, only six of the eleven titles are previously released material. Five songs are brand new and as of yet unreleased. (There are even six new tracks on the CD, the CD bonus track is already a foretaste of the new album “Heroes”, which will be released in autumn).

WINTER stays true to his course with "Looking Further Back". And that means that he basically doesn't have a rigorous line here either. Again, he moves within his self-defined framework, somewhere between AOR rock, hard rock, pop, wave and gothic. As always with a proper 80s touch and a feeling for catchy choruses that get stuck in the listener's ear.

The album will be released on CD (with a bonus track), as well as digitally and on strictly limited (300 copies) Black Dust splatter vinyl.

April has it all. Once again the Beckum-based HEMESATH are going on TOUR with the NDH actors from MAERZFELD and will be standing their ground in Cologne from April 8th on the mostly German stages. As in spring 2022, HEMESATH will heat up the audience with the songs from the second studio album "So Schön" and thus pass on the audience at the individual stations to the headliners of MAERZFELD at least at operating temperature.

HEMESATH warm up before the start of the TOUR and will be supported by their colleagues PROTZ on two concert evenings in March (10.03. and 11.03.).

Her last single "Feuer speit das Ungeheuer" was very successful with number 5 (best position in 8 weeks) in the German Alternative Charts (DAC).

"Viva La Insomnia featuring A-X-Amun" is the insane mix of drum ‘n’ bass beats, borderline trip hop and crazy vocals. A new way / wave of electro punk pop!

Merry Chicklit features the project A-X-Amun signed on the Danse Macabre label.

Khalid's and Eva's vocals together create excitement, power and drama! The song is exciting with surprising twists. Nevertheless, pop structures and pretty melodies can be found as well.
