Von 202 bis 2021 waren sie bei KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, jetzt haben Adam Dutkiewicz und Howard Jones wieder ein gemeinsames Projekt: Unter dem Namen BURN ETERNAL Will Das Duo neue Songs bei Metal Blade Records veröffentlichen.

„Wir freuen uns riesig, dass wir für unser Debütalbum Metal Blade an Bord haben“, erklärt Jones. „Das Team ist großartig und wir können es kaum erwarten, die Musik endlich mit euch zu teilen. Was bei einem gemeinsamen Mittagessen in London als Idee begann, ist mittlerweile zu einem kompletten Album herangewachsen. Es war einfach fantastisch, wieder mit meinem alten Freund Musik zu machen. Burn Eternal lebt!“

Dutkiewicz fügt hinzu:

„Ich freue mich wahnsinnig, dass ich unser gemeinsames Projekt mit Howard endlich mit euch teilen kann! Es ist großartig, wieder mit einem alten Freund abzuhängen und gemeinsam Musik zu machen. Dark Force Fest returns to Parsippany, New Jersey, from Friday, April 30, through Sunday, May 2, 2027, bringing a broad assembly of post-punk, darkwave, gothic rock, synthpop, and industrial acts to the Dolce by Wyndham, formerly the Sheraton Parsippany. IAMX, The Crüxshadows, and Powerman 5000 top the three days, with ACTORS, TRAITRS, Night Club, and Gene Loves Jezebel among the artists joining them.

Presented by the team behind Triton Festival and Dark Side of the Con, the gathering once again brings the club, the concert hall, and the alternative convention under one suitably extravagant roof. Elsewhere on the bill, aux animaux, Dark Chisme, Hallows, and Heavy Halo broaden a weekend whose bookings extend from guitar-led goth to electronic pop and industrial metal.

Sunday deserves particular attention for Dusty Gannon and the Agonal Gasps, the post-Vision Video band led by singer and guitarist Dusty Gannon. The Athens, Georgia project has introduced itself across 2026 through Hold Fast, Death Knell, Blood God, and September’s Faded Memories. On Bandcamp, Hold Fast is described as “A track for fighting during trying times and keeping the faith for better days ahead.” For listeners who followed Gannon through Vision Video’s earlier Dark Force Fest appearances, his return offers a chance to reconnect with his songwriting as the Agonal Gasps establish an identity of their own.

Beyond the performances, the organizers advertise more than 100 vendors, club events, a costume contest, cosplay guests, sideshow performers, activities, and panels. The castle-themed hotel provides the setting for a weekend where catching a band, meeting friends, and finding something suitably excessive to wear can all happen within the same building.

Early arrivals can begin on Thursday, April 29, when Lost Signal plays the festival’s Thursday-night pre-party.

Die Neofolk-Band HEILUNG hat mit „Sagas“ ein neues Album angekündigt. Es enthält Aufnahmen, welche die Band in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Videospiel-Entwicklerstudio Ninja Theory für das Spiel „Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II“ erstellt haben. Als Bonus-CD gibt es „Ambient“.

„“Sagas“ nimmt in der Diskografie von HEILUNG einen besonderen Platz ein“, sagt Produzent Kai Uwe Faust. „Die Ideen, die wir gemeinsam mit Ninja Theory für „Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga“ komponiert und entwickelt hatten, entwickelten bald ein Eigenleben, nachdem Chris, Maria und ich von einer prägenden zehntägigen Reise durch Island zurückgekehrt waren. Die Landschaft des Landes trug maßgeblich zur klanglichen Identität des Materials bei und inspirierte uns dazu, weit mehr zu komponieren, als im Spiel verwendet werden konnte.“

„Sagas“ wird am 11. Dezember 2026 via Season of Mist erscheinen. Vorab gibt es einen Video-Clip zu „Læknisgaldr„. Der Song ist als Heilungslied konzipiert. Er basiert auf einem Glauben aus dem frühen Mittelalter, wonach die Sprache untrennbar mit dem Zustand des menschlichen Körpers verbunden ist: Ein Leiden zu benennen bedeutet, es zu definieren, einzudämmen und für rituelle Heilung zugänglich zu machen.

Den Hintergrund des Werks – ein Konzeptalbum – erklären BLACK SPIKES:

„Ydos ist ein Konzeptalbum – ein düsteres Märchen über menschliche Laster. Die Idee dazu gab es von Anfang an und sie hat den gesamten Songwriting-Prozess geprägt. Jedes Laster hat seinen eigenen Namen und seine eigene Geschichte, und viele Songs werden durch Musikvideos zum Leben erweckt, in denen diese Laster Gestalt annehmen. Es war das erste Mal, dass wir ein Konzeptalbum geschaffen haben, und es hat uns großen Spaß gemacht, von einer Idee auszugehen und diese durch Musik zum Ausdruck zu bringen.“

Die Progressive Metal-Band BABY ON A RAMPAGE hat mit „Failure of One’s Name“ einen Video-Clip ihrer kommenden EP „Forgive My Figure“ veröffentlicht.

„Für mich handelt dieser Song davon, sich selbst wiederzufinden, nachdem man sein Selbstgefühl stark verloren hat. Als mein Onkel starb, hatte ich das Gefühl, einen großen Teil meiner Identität verloren zu haben. In dem Song geht es darum, herauszufinden, wie man zu sich selbst zurückfindet und sich wieder ganz fühlt – und dabei zu erkennen, dass man sein wahres Ich letztendlich in sich selbst entdecken muss“, sagt Gitarrist und Sänger Ash Lee.

Die neue Scheibe folgt auf das 2025er-Debütalbum „Fall With Disgrace“ nach und wurde von Scott Proctor gemixt und von Matt Boudreau gemastert. Release-Termin ist der 12. November 2026. Vorab gibt es zu „Reclaim“ einen Video-Clip.

On March 28, 2025, RobSoul will release their first single "Feuertanz" (Fire Dance).

The singer and composer Robert Eberl continues his musical journey after having to give up his band "Soulimage" in the fall of 2023 with a heavy heart. After a creative break of just three months, Rob was blessed by the muse again and began to write rock songs with German lyrics. The result is a musical mix of various rock genres with fat and driving guitars, provided by guitarist Alex Ahle. Alex has been with RobSoul since the beginning of 2025 and has further arranged Rob's compositions and, with his musicality, ensured the typical character of RobSoul.

The music is at home in German-language rock / metal and the single track "Feuertanz" with its catchy chorus immediately goes straight into one’s ears and quickly gets stuck in one’s head.

With “Feuertanz” the way has been paved for a new musical project by Robert Eberl and Alex Ahle. Live shows are planned as well in the near future.

After a long time there is new music from the Netherlands in the form of the video single "Don't Pray".

The lyrics of this track are a powerful commentary on the hypocrisy and emptiness of religious institutions and the people who lead them. The band's use of strong imagery and striking metaphors paints a vivid picture of their message, making it impossible to ignore.

Originally as a solo project by Luke J.B. Rafka brought to life in 2010 for the public, it has now grown into a grandiose 2-man project. While Luke puts world events into words without inhibition V-nerV has been providing the electronic background since 2016. electronic background in the form of his compositions.

The first single "Spiegel der Gesellschaft" will be released on February 24th with the original song, a club edit and remixes by Relate, Superikone, ANTIAGE, Das(X)Periment and U.M. Fiedel and the first partby the song "Ein Gespräch zwischen Sonne & Erde". Parallel to the single, a video will be released which was created by Maik E. Baptist.

We are happy to announce the release of WINTER's new studio album "Looking Further Back" in cooperation with Wintergothic Records in April 2023.

This time, "Looking Further Back" presents newly mixed highlights from earlier times as well, but not exclusively. In fact, only six of the eleven titles are previously released material. Five songs are brand new and as of yet unreleased. (There are even six new tracks on the CD, the CD bonus track is already a foretaste of the new album “Heroes”, which will be released in autumn).

WINTER stays true to his course with "Looking Further Back". And that means that he basically doesn't have a rigorous line here either. Again, he moves within his self-defined framework, somewhere between AOR rock, hard rock, pop, wave and gothic. As always with a proper 80s touch and a feeling for catchy choruses that get stuck in the listener's ear.

The album will be released on CD (with a bonus track), as well as digitally and on strictly limited (300 copies) Black Dust splatter vinyl.

April has it all. Once again the Beckum-based HEMESATH are going on TOUR with the NDH actors from MAERZFELD and will be standing their ground in Cologne from April 8th on the mostly German stages. As in spring 2022, HEMESATH will heat up the audience with the songs from the second studio album "So Schön" and thus pass on the audience at the individual stations to the headliners of MAERZFELD at least at operating temperature.

HEMESATH warm up before the start of the TOUR and will be supported by their colleagues PROTZ on two concert evenings in March (10.03. and 11.03.).
