Die finnische Death-Doom-Metal-Band MARIANAS REST veröffentlicht ihr fünftes Studioalbums „The Bereaved“, es erscheint am 16. Januar 2026. Der Nachfolger des 2023er Albums „Auer“ wird via neues Label Noble Demon erscheinen.

INDUCTION haben ein neues Album angekündigt: „Love Kills“ erscheint am 6. Februar 2026. Nun hat die Band auch ein Video zum Titelsong geteilt:

„Love Kills“ ist nicht die erste Single, zuvor teilte die Band ein Video zu „Dark Temptation“ – der Song ist auch ein weiterer Ausblick auf das kommende Album, wie Gitarrist Tim Kanoa Hansen erklärt:

 „Mit ‚Dark Temptation‘ stellen wir ofiziell einen Song von unserem kommenden dritten Album ‚Love Kills!‘ vor, es wird im Februar 2026 erscheinen. Mit diesem Song beginnt ein neues Kapitel von INDUCTION – wo Verführung auf Gefahr trifft und Liebe am Rande des Abgrunds tanzt. Es ist heavy, es ist düster, es ist Sci-Fi – und das ist erst der Anfang. Lass dich in diese verbotene Geschichte hineinziehen und erlebe den Nervenkitzel von „Dark Temptation“, dem ersten Vorgeschmack auf das, was noch kommen wird.

 

Im Juni teilte die Band ein Lyric-Video zu ihrem neuen Song „Beyond Horizons“ .

Produziert wurde das Stück von Gitarrist Tim Kanoa Hansen, den Mix übernahm der Musiker wie das Mastering gemeinsam mit Eike Freese. Den Song kommentiert Hansen:

„Mit ‚Beyond Horizons‘ starten wir den Countdown zu unserem langerwarteten dritten Album und ich bin davon überzeugt, dass wir die Latte mit dieser Single direkt enorm hoch anlegen: Diese von Schicksal geprägte Liebesgeschichte entführt euch tief in verwunschene Welten. ‚Beyond Horizons‘ ist der perfekte Auftakt der neuen Kampagne und präsentiert eindrucksvoll, woran wir so hart gearbeitet haben und was euch von der restlichen Platte erwartet. In the small hours of a Kyiv dawn, when the city’s quiet is broken only by the distant thrum of trains and the hush of the Dnipro’s slow breath, Morwan returns with a vision both personal and apocalyptic. The band’s new single, “Bez oblichchya” (Faceless), arrives with a striking music video alongside the release of their fourth studio album, Vse po kolu, znovu (All in a Circle, Again)—an eight-track opus recorded between 2023 and 2024.

Directed by Nastya Platinova, the video descends into an infernal, red-lit underground rave—a feverish vision of anonymity as salvation, underscored by a sound recalling Killing Joke’s most apocalyptic moments, where ritual and rage become indistinguishable. Figures move through the haze as if surrendering to rhythm were the only prayer left. It’s a harrowing yet hypnotic portrayal of the song’s central desire: to be stripped of identity, to start again at zero, to find purity in disappearance. “Bez oblichchya” unfolds like a cry for obliteration, its relentless beat echoing the suffocating loop of existence.

Vse po kolu, znovu (All in a Circle, Again) marks the culmination of years of creative exploration for Morwan, the project helmed by Alex Ashtaui. The record channels a heavier, more aggressive energy, shifting from post-punk toward avant-garde rock and even shoegaze. Its sound is both ritualistic and raw—a visceral evolution from the band’s earlier, more meditative works.

“Vse po kolu, znovu is a story about fears tearing you apart from within and conflicts that give you no peace,” Ashtaui explains. “It’s about the endless cycle of existence, pulling you into the vortex of inevitable dread… the moment when control over yourself slips away, and you become a helpless observer, forced to watch your life crumble before your very eyes.”

Across its eight tracks, Ashtaui fuses the ceremonial weight of pounding percussion with shimmering guitars and a low current of electronic disquiet that hums like machinery dreaming of humanity. The Arabic tonalities that have long defined Morwan’s music return—less as embellishment than invocation—merging seamlessly with Ukrainian cadence until the languages of grief and endurance become one.

Die Post-Hardcore / Metalcore-Band ELWOOD STRAY kündigt ein neues Album an: „Descending“. Es ist nach „Gone With The Flow“ das zweite Album der Band aus Essen. Release-Termin ist der 2. Januar 2026 via Out Of Line Music. Vorab hat die Band mit „Ivory Tower“ eine weitere Single mitsamt Video-Clip daraus veröffentlicht.

Im Juli hat die Band den Song „Nevermind“ mitsamt Video-Clip veröffentlicht.

„‚Nevermind‘ ist eine kraftvolle Reise der Selbstfindung und Transformation“, erklärt die Band. „Der Text handelt davon, sich von einer falschen Identität zu befreien, die von Bedauern, Masken und Erwartungen geprägt ist. Es geht darum, alte Schichten abzuwerfen, sich selbst zu stellen und endlich das Licht hereinzulassen.“

Davor hat die Band nach „Evolve“ mit „Shattered“ eine weitere Single mitsamt Video-Clip veröffentlicht.

„In ‚Shattered‘ geht es um den Umgang mit den Nachwirkungen von Verrat und dem Schmerz von unwiderruflichen Fehlern“, teilt die Band mit. „Der Song erforscht den Kampf mit Schuldgefühlen, das Gefühl, verloren und gefangen zu sein, und dennoch weiter voranzuschreiten und zu versuchen, mit dem Gewicht ihrer Handlungen fertig zu werden.“

Die Hardcore / Thrash Metal-Band DENIAL OF LIFE hat einen Labeldeal bei Creator-Destructor Records unterschrieben. Im Zuge dessen werden die US-Amerikaner aus Tacoma (Washington) ihre neue EP „Witness The Power“ veröffentlichen. Die Scheibe folgt auf das 2022er-Debütalbum „No Reason“ nach und wird am 7. November 2025 erscheinen.

„Witness The Power“ wurde gemeinsam mit Jason Brooks aufgenommen, von Taylor Young gemixt und von Brad Boatright gemastert. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Stein Hansen. Vorab gibt es zu „Circle The Drain“ nun einen Video-Clip.

„‚Circle The Drain‘ ist ein Liebeslied über die Trauer um eine persönliche Beziehung und das Gefühl der Scham, weil der Verlust hätte vermieden werden können“, sagt die Band.

„In diesem Song geht es darum, wie mich die ständigen Kämpfe des Lebens manchmal dazu gebracht haben, mich selbst nicht mehr wiederzuerkennen. Ich finde, dass die modernen Erwartungen an uns Menschen oft mit dem Verkauf der eigenen Seele vergleichbar sind. Das Leben verläuft so schnell, dass man selten die Gelegenheit hat, innezuhalten und nachzudenken, aber in den Momenten, in denen mir das gelungen ist, habe ich mich oft gefragt: „Wofür mache ich das überhaupt?“ Der Text beschäftigt sich mit den mentalen Zuständen, in die mich mein Gehirn versetzt hat, wenn ich mich niedergeschlagen gefühlt habe. In solchen Momenten habe ich mich oft selbst an Orten, die mir einst wie ein Zuhause erschienen und mir Trost gespendet haben, fehl am Platz gefühlt“, sagt Sänger Liam Edwards.

Die Melodic Death Metal-Band IMPERIAL DOMAIN hat einen Labeldeal bei Wormholedeath unterschrieben. Im Zuge dessen werden die Schweden ihr neues Album „Portentum“ veröffentlichen. Es ist das vierte Album der Band aus Uppsala, deren Ursprung Mitte der 90er-Jahre zu finden ist.

„Portentum“ wird am 14. November 2025 erscheinen. Vorab gibt es nach dem Opener „History Repeating“ mit „Retribution“ einen weiteren Video-Clip.

On the diamond of an abandoned baseball field, the cheerleaders are still dancing—though there’s no one left to cheer for. The bleachers groan beneath the weight of the undead, the air hums with the static of a vanished world, and the choreography becomes a ritual act of denial. This is the setting for Ask The Dust’s new video for “Crazy Dance of Death”—a gory, glamorous collision of horror cinema and post-punk theatricality directed by the band’s own Massimo Zompicchiatti.

As the story unfolds, the cheer squad—abandoned by their missing teammate and a visibly impatient coach—decides to perform anyway. Their synchronized moves quickly take on a macabre tone, transforming the halftime show into a danse macabre. The audience, a horde of ravenous zombies, surges forward, threatening to break the net that separates the living from the dead. What follows is a nightmarish metaphor for persistence in the face of collapse: even as civilization rots, the performance goes on.

“Maybe they keep dancing because it’s the only way they can prove they’re still alive,” Zompicchiatti explains. “Or maybe because pretending nothing has changed feels safer than facing the truth.”

Musically, “Crazy Dance of Death” is the fastest and most ferocious track in the band’s catalog, clocking in at 150 BPM. It opens with a retro synth sequence—nostalgic at first, like a lost fragment from an ‘80s VHS dream—but the warmth soon curdles into something ominous, setting the stage for the storm to follow. Anchored by melodic Sisters of Mercy-style basslines and punchy, distorted deathrock guitars, the song fuses post-punk revival energy with gothic rock intensity. The production showcases three distinct vocal textures: one filtered through a megaphone’s metallic bite, another soaked in reverb, and a chorus layered with rich octave effects. The result is both rhythmic and cinematic—an adrenaline rush underscored by existential dread.

Lyrically, “Crazy Dance of Death” reads like a confession from a restless soul trapped in an endless loop between love and doom. The song’s protagonist wanders through an empty city, searching for meaning and finding only the cruel indifference of nature. They plead for release from false promises and emotional illusions, yet remain caught in the rhythm of obsession—dancing alone at the edge of life and death. Each verse unfolds like a fever dream of desire and despair, a chase through the ruins of passion where every step feels both futile and fated.

Formed in Italy, Ask The Dust forges a sound that blends post-punk revival with gothic rock’s theatrical gloom and deathrock’s haunted edge. A Ceremony Reborn – The Cult Resurrect Death Cult on the Paradise Now Tour
Inside San Antonio’s Majestic Theatre, where gold curtains shimmer beneath a painted night sky, history felt alive again. The Cult, celebrating four decades of mysticism and might, brought their “Paradise Now Tour” to town, a symbolic merging of past and present that saw Death Cult reborn as their own opening act. For longtime followers, it was more than a concert; it was a séance of sound, spanning the raw post-punk origins that birthed them and the anthemic power that made them legends.

Patriarchy Opens with Electric Menace
The night began with Patriarchy, the Los Angeles darkwave provocateurs who turned the room into a fever dream of industrial beats and high-gloss menace. Actually Huizenga commanded the stage with icy composure, like a character torn from a neon-drenched nightmare, her delivery oscillating between deadpan detachment and ecstatic fury. Songs like “Suffer” and “Boy on a Leash” throbbed with metallic sensuality, while “No Touch Torture” dripped with decadent tension. It was performance art meeting apocalypse disco, equal parts threat and seduction, and the perfect prelude to the transformation that would follow.

The Resurrection of Death Cult
When the lights dimmed again, the curtain rose to reveal Death Cult, a name not uttered from a stage in decades. Ian Astbury, draped in black, stared down the audience with the conviction of a shaman about to cast the first spell. From the opening beat of “Ghost Dance”, the sound was primal, with toms pounding and guitars shimmering in ritualistic echo.
The set unfolded like a time capsule cracked open. “Resurrection Joe” swaggered with hypnotic rhythm, “Gods Zoo” snarled in tribal pulse, and “83rd Dream” spilled out in psychedelic grace. Billy Duffy’s guitar shimmered and bit in equal measure, while Astbury’s voice carried the same fiery incantation it did forty years ago, perhaps even stronger, tempered by time and defiance.
By “Christians” and “Horse Nation”, the crowd was fully entranced, swaying under crimson light like witnesses to some long-forbidden rite. The closing “Spiritwalker” felt transcendent, the band moving as one organism, equal parts fury and faith. This wasn’t nostalgia, it was rebirth.

The Cult Ignite the Fire
After a brief intermission, The Cult returned in full force, launching straight into “Wild Flower”, its riff slicing through the theater like a spark hitting dry tinder. The air thickened with smoke and light as “The Witch” and “War (The Process)” followed. Astbury commanded the stage like a prophet in motion, his presence both grounded and otherworldly.
Mid-set highlights included the cinematic ache of “Edie (Ciao Baby)” and the muscular drive of “Rise”, each moment a reminder that The Cult’s power has always lived in tension between beauty and aggression, chaos and control. “Fire Woman” set the audience ablaze, a wall of sound and heat that rolled like thunder through the Majestic’s ornate balconies.
The night closed with a roaring encore of “She Sells Sanctuary”, every note erupting into collective euphoria. Duffy’s soaring guitar rang out like light through stained glass, while Astbury’s voice rose, defiant, timeless, and alive. For a few radiant minutes, everyone in the room was baptized in pure sound.

Between Heaven and Earth
In the end, the Paradise Now 8525 Tour was not a mere retrospective but a ritual of endurance. The Cult did not just revisit their history; they redefined it. From Patriarchy’s dark seduction to Death Cult’s resurrection and The Cult’s blazing finale, the night traced the evolution of a band and a belief that music can still be dangerous, spiritual, and deeply human.
They remain a group suspended between heaven and earth — channeling fire through faith after forty years — but even fire must rest before blazing again.

As The Cult prepare to close out their Paradise Now 8525 Tour, the band has announced an indefinite hiatus following the final four shows. In a collective statement, they explained:

“Mother Nature has a cycle of change and evolution that is inevitable. The moon’s phases change, tides rise and fall. Change is necessary for creation and rebirth. It is with this in mind that, following the remaining dates on our current North American The Cult/Death Cult 8525 Tour, we have decided to step away from touring for an undetermined amount of time. We have toured extensively over the last few years and we shall now shift our focus to writing, recording new music, and exploring other projects that shall be revealed over time. It is a time for us to turn inward to recharge our spiritual batteries. When we return to the stage, it shall be with an even stronger fire and energy that we will share with all of you. Ours is a communal bond, and it will not be broken, simply paused.”

The statement frames the pause not as an ending, but as a necessary renewal — a space for reflection, creation, and recalibration before the band’s next chapter.

Richmond, Virginia producer and vocalist Troy Hancock, under the alias The Treasury, offers a collection that feels both engineered and incantatory. Permanent District is an exercise in tension: precision meeting decay, rhythm grinding against restraint. Across its five core tracks, Hancock assembles a metallic architecture of sound that hums with an unsettling intelligence. It is music built like brutalist sculpture: functional, imposing, and strangely human.

The production, realized with engineer Yave Rust, carries the tang of machinery made sentient. Every programmed drum lands like a measured decree; every synth line advances with bureaucratic poise. Yet within this order lies unease; the sense of a system too aware of its own design. Hancock’s voice, distant and clipped, narrates from within the structure rather than above it. He does not guide so much as haunt his own creation, a presence both integral and estranged.

The opening and title track, Permanent District, feels like a philosophical dispatch from the end of modernity. Hancock writes of paranoia and paralysis, of a civilisation straining under the weight of its own design. The track’s economy of rhythm conceals a moral exhaustion: a recognition that progress has become self-cannibalising. Faith quivers in the fluorescent light…more habit than hope. Fear Austere circles around themes of belief and repetition: faith reduced to protocol, rebellion crushed beneath ritual. The words are plain but loaded, as if written for a society addicted to obedience. The rhythm moves like a factory belt, delivering each phrase with mechanical insistence. It is a track that studies submission in motion.

Novice Cycle, a study in anxiety, introduces an element of unease that borders on surrealism. Vocals hiss and fracture, as if intercepted through faulty surveillance equipment. The song’s structure feels circular, returning always to a point of erasure. One imagines a mind recording its own undoing.

X.Y.Z. (You Think You Know Me) channels the more militant energy of Front Line Assembly; rhythms that stomp rather than swing, atmospheres that feel more observed than inhabited. Its aggression is clinical, stripped of sentiment. Only endurance remains: a march through static, lit by the brief flare of recognition that even alienation can be communal.

Finally, Initialize closes the EP with a strange sense of reclamation. Here, identity dissolves in a flood of code and noise. The language of technology replaces confession; emotion becomes function. Yet in its repetition lies something almost devotional—a yearning for meaning within the mechanical. It is the sound of humanity reduced to signal, and still, somehow, persisting. Two remixes are included from Anticipation and Normal Bias at the end.

Permanent District by The Treasury

Permanent District feels less like a debut and more like an intervention. Hancock constructs a disciplined world of form and friction, one that reflects our own in miniature: efficient, faithless, and quietly aware of its own decline.

Soft Cell‘s Dave Ball, technician, trail-blazer, the other half of Soft Cell, died peacefully in his sleep at his London home on October 22, aged 66.

Born David James Ball in Chester and adopted in Blackpool, he grew up amid the hum of transistor radios and seaside lights. In his late teens, he studied fine art at Leeds Polytechnic, where he met Marc Almond. Together they formed Soft Cell: two art students chasing a vision stitched from soul records and synthesisers.

In 1981, their glacial cover of Gloria Jones’s Tainted Love (and its companion Where Did Our Love Go by the Supremes) conquered the world. Its spare arrangement and mechanical pulse carried something both alien and intimate. Ball was the quiet half of the partnership, a man who preferred circuitry to spectacle.

“Marc, this gay bloke in makeup; and me, a big guy who looked like a minder,” he once said.

The contrast became their power. Powerful contemporaries of Depeche Mode, Fad Gadget, Gary Numan, and Ultravox, the duo called themselves Soft Cell, a pun, as he put it, on “consumerist nightmares and suburban insanity.” Soft Cell’s Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret opened like a seedy West End revue: part mirrorball, part mirror. Ball’s synths buzzed with menace and melancholy, his hands shaping pop’s future while Almond delivered its sins like Elmer Gantry in a gimp mask. Two more albums followed: The Art of Falling Apart and This Last Night in Sodom. Both pushed further into decadence and despair before the duo split in 1984.

Ball’s restlessness rarely let him linger in one scene. After Soft Cell’s implosion, he gravitated toward the avant-garde, collaborating with Throbbing Gristle’s Genesis P-Orridge and forming a string of new outfits. The most successful was The Grid, his partnership with Richard Norris. Between late nights and long mixes, Ball lent his hand to pop as well, co-writing and producing for artists such as Kylie Minogue, contributing to her 1997 album Impossible Princess.

Fame had its benefits and burdens. “I loved being able to afford my first home, having money and travelling, which makes me sound like a Miss World,” he quipped. Yet he also confessed, “Newfound wealth meant we could afford newfound drugs to relieve the boredom.” He survived the decade’s excesses, wrote a memoir, and remained disarmingly candid about the industry’s illusions.

Soft Cell’s legend grew in their absence, however. Nine Inch Nails counted them among their influences, and the duo reunited after the millennium for Cruelty Without Beauty, a record and tour that proved the voltage still ran strong. Another return followed in 2018, yielding two new songs and, four years later, Happiness Not Included…music that folded age and experience into its steady hum.

Reunited with Almond, he finished their upcoming album Danceteria only days before his death; a poetic swan song, indeed.  Danceteria took its name from the New York club they once haunted in the early 1980s, a place where irony and excess shared the same mirror. Ball endured years of ill health: fractured vertebrae, broken ribs, a wrist shattered in a fall. Pneumonia followed, then sepsis, and seven months in hospital. But even that could not dull his humour or ambition. “I had strange recollections when I was in and out of hospital because I was on morphine,” he said. “The new songs are a digital reflection of the sounds in my head from that time.”

“It’s so sad as 2026 was all set to be such an uplifting year for him, and I take some solace from the fact that he heard the finished record and felt that it was a great piece of work,” Almond reflects. “Dave’s music is better than ever. His tunes and hooks are still unmistakably Soft Cell, yet he always took it to the next level too. He was a wonderfully brilliant musical genius and the pair of us have been on a journey together for almost 50 years. In the early days we were obnoxious and difficult, two belligerent art students who wanted to do things our way, even if it was the wrong way. We were naive and made mistakes, although we never really saw them as such. It was all just a part of the adventure. Dave and I were always a bit chalk-and-cheese, but maybe that’s why the chemistry between us worked so well.”

Ball’s life was a study in the industrialization of emotion. He was the dreamer behind the curtain: the man who found beauty in machines and romance in restraint. He leaves behind the music, the memory, and that immortal pulse that has made the world dance for nearly five decades.

“Thank you, Dave,” Almond said. “I wouldn’t be where I am without you.”

Eine meiner DNA-Bands aus Norwegen hat sich diesmal nicht zu viel Zeit gelassen und innerhalb ihrer geplanten Trilogie mit „Dissonans“ ein teils sehr energetisches und wie man es kennt von den Norwegern, sehr trippig düsteres Stück Musik am Start. Man spielte wohl laut Band mit einigen alten Ideen und wollte Frische und Kontraste in die aktuelle Platte bringen.Viele kurze intensiv treibende Songs mit gar Post-Punkigen Vibes vernimmt man z.B. in ‚Schizopen‘ oder ‚Dissiplin‘ – so kennt man die Jungs eher nicht und dies überraschte mich erstmal gehörig. Es schien sich wohl einiges aufgestaut zu haben – kein Wunder in so einer verrückt agierenden Welt. Hatte ich mich erstmal daran gewöhnt – die Dynamik des Albums nach und nach verinnerlicht – muss ich gestehen, dass gerade diese Bandbreite aus dem Album ein sehr dynamisches Werk macht. Die tief schürfenden Balladen ‚Rosemalt‘ und ‚For Min Skyld‘ lassen mich an die besten Zeiten Mitte der 90s denken, sind wunderschön traurig, unendlich dunkel und berührend trist – so liebe ich Seigmen und keine Band dieser Welt klingt so wie die Norweger in diesen Momenten. Der mystisch nordische Opener ‚Dyret‘ hat in seinen 7 Minuten alles an Heavyness, Sehnsucht, Mystik, Melancholie und Drive, was man so liebt an den Norwegern. ‚Så Nært‘ ist butterweicher Melancholie-Pop und das abschliessende, mit genialen Gitarren und intensiven Chorus/Vocals ausgestattete ‚Ave‘ könnte tiefer und ergreifender nicht performen. Perlende, schwermütige Riffs und Sehnsucht-Gesang wohin man schaut. Ihre Klassiker hat die Band in den späten 90s hinterlassen, „Total“ von 1995 war ein Erweckungsmoment in Sachen düsterer nordischer Alternative-Musik für mich mit seinerzeit 20 Jahren, aber diese neue Platte kam und kommt immer noch mit Nachdruck. Vergesst den Szene-orientierten, halbbaren Ableger/Side-Project ZEROMANCER. Seigmen sind einzigartig, wahrhaftig, dunkel, manisch und Leidenschaft pur, integrieren düsteren Goth, Folk, Alternative Rock, mystischen Art Rock und stehen seit über 30 Jahren für absolut individuellen düsteren Rock Marke Skandinavien.

OUR MIRAGE stellen ihren neuen Song „Timeloss“ bei YouTube vor. Das Stück ist eine Zusammenarbeit mit SCREAMISTRY.

„Timeloss“ folgt auf die Singles „Violent Spin“ söowie „Don’t Talk“. Zu hören ist hier auch Gastsänger Christopher Kristensen (DEAD BY APRIL).

Darüber hinaus gibt es „Fractured“ im Stream. Produziert wurde der Track von Timo Bonner und Seb Monzel. Zuvor teilte die Band bereits eine weitere Nummer: „Right Now“ steht als Videoclip bei YouTube bereit.

Entnommen sind die Stücke dem neuen Album „Fractured Minds“, das am 30. Januar 2026 via Arising Empire erscheinen wird. Zuletzt veröffentlichten OUR MIRAGE „Eclipse“ (2022).

Im Februar 2026 folgt dann eine Headline-Tour.

WITHIN TEMPTATION melden sich mit einem gewaltigen neuen Track zurück. Die Band um Sharon Den Adel engagiert sich bekanntlich seit längerem für das Schicksal der Ukraine und der ukrainischen Künstler. Nun veröffentlichte die Band mit „Sing Like a Siren“ einen neuen Song zusammen mit der ukrainischen Künstlerin und ESC-Teilnehmerin Jerry Heil.
Epische Kollaboration mit Statement: Gemeinsam veröffentlichen sie die eindrucksvolle Single „Sing Like A Siren“, die ab sofort auf allen gängigen Musikplattformen verfügbar ist. Ein Song, der Schmerz, Kampfgeist und Mut in sich vereint – und zum Aufschrei gegen das Gefühl der Ohnmacht wird. Die Sirene steht dabei sinnbildlich: als Orientierung, als Hoffnungsträgerin, als Ruf nach Hause für all jene, die sich verloren haben.

Das Duo END OF TRANSMISSION sorgte bereits mit seinem Erstlings-Debütwerk für ein echtes Aufhorchen. Und auch live überzeugten Sänger Jens "Schubi" Schubert und Sven Schröder (Instruments/Programming) bei unterschiedlichsten Auftritten. Hervorgehoben seien hier die Shows beim NCN Festival (bereitrs 2 Mal!) und als Support von KLANGSTABIL in Erfurt genannt. Der Erfolg und positive Zuspruch spornte natürlich sehr an und nun verkünden sie, dass man sich bei den finalen Arbeiten zu einem zweiten Studioalbum befindet. Es wird  den Titel "Fragile Times" tragen. In konkreter Planung dieser Veröffentlichung sind physische Tonträger mit Produktion und Vertrieb in Eigenregie. Vorbestellungen werden sehr gern angenommen.

Das schwedische Label PROGRESS PRODUCTIONS ist stolz darauf, ein brandneues Band-Signing präsentieren zu dürfen: THE SOUND OF VEIL SOCIETY bildet eine perfekte Mischung aus Elektro und Popmusik. Die Melodien und Soundscapes zusammen mit einer umwerfenden Gesangsperformance bilden etwas ganz Besonderes. Die Debütsingle "The River" ist jetzt digital verfügbar.
Torny Gottberg/Progress Productions: Als ich das erste Mal mit dem Material dieser Band konfrontiert wurde, war ich verblüfft. Es ist lange her, dass ich direkt das Gefühl hatte "DAS ist etwas, was ich einfach machen MUSS", ich hatte sogar das gleiche Gefühl wie damals, als ich zum ersten Mal ein anderes schwedisches Duo hörte, das "Ways to dance" spielte und das wir später über 10 Jahre zu einer der größeren Bands in der heutigen Szene aufbauten.
