Die Dark / Heavy Metal-Band THE LOSTS hat mit „Venom Within“ ein neues Album angekündigt. Es ist nach „…of Shades & Deadlands“ (2016) und „Mystery of Depths“ (2021) das dritte Album der Franzosen aus Lille und behandelt wie die Alben zuvor eine fiktive Geschichte um die „Losts“. Aus dem Nichts entstanden und getrieben von einem Durst nach Menschlichkeit, nähern sich diese Figuren den menschlichen Zivilisationen. Mit „Exponential Law“ gibt es nun die zweite Vorab-Single.

„“Exponential Law“ spiegelt die Dringlichkeit wider, in der sich die Menschheit durch ihre Existenz, ihre Kreativität und vor allem durch die Herausforderungen und möglichen Folgen, denen sie gegenübersteht, selbst gebracht hat“, erklärt Frontmann YGC.

„Venom Within“ wurde von Phil Reinhalter und Frédéric Motte gemixt und gemastert und wird am 19. Dezember 2025 via Inverse Records erscheinen. Vorab gibt es zum Opener „A Dark Place To Hide“ ein Lyric-Video.

Die Thrash / Heavy Metal-Band VANISHMENT hat einen Labeldeal bei M-Theory Audio unterschrieben. Im Zuge dessen werden die US-Amerikaner aus Seattle ihr neues Album „..And Now We Die“ veröffentlichen. Es ist nach „No More Torture“ (2023) das zweite Album der Band. Erscheinen wird das Album am 23. Januar 2026. Mit „Engraved Under Skin“ gibt es nun ein Lyric-Video.

„‚Engraved Under Skin‘ handelt von jemandem, der sich selbst mit Schuldgefühlen und Trauer gequält hat und seine Emotionen und Gefühle von der Welt abgeschottet hat“, erklärt Schlagzeuger Chris Wozniak.

Die EBM / Darkwave-Band GHOSTBELLS hat mit „Cry4Her“ eine neue Single mitsamt Video-Clip veröffentlicht.

„In „Cry4Her“ geht es darum, seine dunkle Seite anzunehmen und zu lieben und mit seinen inneren Dämonen umgehen zu können“, sagt die Band und fügt hinzu: „“Cry4Her“ wurde von einer Erinnerung aus der Vergangenheit beeinflusst, in der es schwieriger war, mit diesen dunklen Zeiten umzugehen und einen Weg zu finden, damit fertig zu werden.“

Einige Wochen zuvor ist die Single „Wrath“ mitsamt Video-Clip erschienen.

„Bei ‚Wrath‘ geht es darum, von der Vergangenheit – Angst, familiäre Probleme und Selbstzweifel – unterdrückt zu werden und sich zu weigern, sich davon begraben zu lassen“, sagt die Band.

Im Sommer 2025 hat die band einen Labeldeal bei Out Of Line Music unterschrieben. Damit einher ging auch der Release der Single „Darkness Saves“ mitsamt Video-Clip.

„‚Darkness Saves‘ ist ein Abstieg in die Arme eines Geistes – eines verführerischen Wesens, das dich mit jedem Atemzug, jedem Blick tiefer in seinen Bann zieht. Es geht darum, sich ihrer Präsenz hinzugeben, selbst wenn die Welt um dich herum verblasst, und in den Schatten, die sie wirft, eine seltsame Erlösung zu finden“, sagt die Band.

KRAFTWERK was founded in Düsseldorf in the 1970s by Florian Schneider and Ralf Hütter. In the beginning, they played experimental Rock music and discovered electronic instruments, which they even developed and built themselves in their legendary Kling-Klang studio.

Auf ihrem Album "Songs of the Shaman" interpretieren NYTT LAND traditionelle schamanische Gesänge und Zaubersprüche der mandschu-tungusischen Sprachgruppen unter Sibiriens Ethnien. Bei diesen Liedern kommen sehr alte musikalische Techniken wie Kehlkopfgesang und Trommeln zum Einsatz. Alle Gesänge wurden in der jeweiligen Originalsprache aufgenommen. Damit will die Band deren ursprüngliche Kraft bewahren, die auch aus der Intonation sowie dem Sprachrhythmus der Worte entsteht. Diese Sammlung alter Magie in Form von Geisterbeschwörungen, Abwehrzaubern und Segensprüchen wurde sorgfältig ausgewählt und schließt Schadflüche bewusst aus. NYTT LAND sind eine rituelle nordische Folk-Band, die das Ehepaar Natalya und Anatoly Pakhalenko im August 2013 in der westsibirischen Stadt Kalachinsk gründete, welche am Ufer des Flusses Om und als Station der Transsibirischen Eisenbahn errichtet wurde. Nach drei in Eigenregie veröffentlichten Alben, "Nytt Land" (2013), "Hávamál" (2015) und "Scopun: Songs from the Elder Edda" (2016), erschien im Jahr 2017 mit "Fimbulvinter" ihr Debüt bei einem Label, auf das kurz darauf das Album "Oðal" (2018) folgte. Während NYTT LAND auch weiterhin Werke in Eigenregie veröffentlichten, traten die sibirischen Elemente in ihrer Musik auf ihrem dritten Label-Album "Ritual" stärker als jemals zuvor in den Vordergrund. Mit "Songs of the Shaman" laden NYTT LAND alle diejenigen, die bereit sind ihnen zuzuhören, auf eine musikalische Traumreise zu einem verborgenen Ort in Zeit und Raum ein, an dem noch die Geister herrschen und den selbst die Götter fürchten. -> >;Nach einem Jahrzehnt der Stille kehren LUX INTERNA mit ihrem fünften Album "New Wilderness Gospel" zurück. Das Album bietet mehr als nur eine Sammlung von Songs, denn es ist das Herzstück einer größeren, immersiven Welt, die aus Klängen, Texten und Bilden gewoben wurde. Mit "New Wilderness Gospel" haben LUX INTERNA eine fragmentierte Erzählung vor dem Hintergrund der trostlosen Highways, schattigen Appalachen und knochenbleichen Wüsten eines Amerikas geschaffen, das zugleich rau und mythisch ist. In Songs finden sich Echos vom statischen Knistern unsichtbarer Stimmen, die das Gewicht der Vergangenheit in die Gegenwart tragen. Prophetisches Geflüster reist durch Stromleitungen, Geister schwärmen durch die Stille der Wüste und in den tiefen Wäldern lauert bei Nacht eine noch sehr viel ältere Dunkelheit. Musikalisch gleicht "New Wilderness Gospel" einem gespenstischen Wandbehang, der aus dem Akzent des Desert Blues, spektralen Echos von Folk und Gospel aus den Appalachen, dem unheimlichen Schimmer von Psychedelia sowie Post-Punk und der rohen Intensität amerikanischer Gothic-Balladen gewebt wurde. Darunter flackern verzerrte Spuren des Girl-Pop der 60er und dem New Wave der 80er wie ferne Radiosignale aus dem Rauschen. Es ist ein Sound, der sowohl von den Erinnerungen vergangener Zeiten gezeichnet wurde als auch, ewig rastlos, weiter in die Zukunft strebt. Im Gefolge ihrer Debüt-EP "Truth, Beauty, and All Their Severity" (2000) haben LUX INTERNA bereits vier Studioalben veröffentlicht – beginnend mit "Absence and Plenum" (2002) und gefolgt von "Ignis Mutat Res" (2004), "God Is Not Dead for the Birds" (2007) sowie zuletzt "There Is Light in the Body, There Is Blood in the Sun" aus dem Jahr 2013. Das Gesamtkunstwerk "New Wilderness Gospel" stellt im Kern die Frage: Was passiert, wenn das Lied der Welt ins Statische abzugleiten droht? The studio album "Nichts währt ewig" will already be released by ECHOZONE in the spring of 2024, promising the aforementioned blend of EBM and Electropop, with a strong focus on dancefloor-oriented tracks.

The music label ECHOZONE and the Darkelectro duo TEVALIK from Düsseldorf/Cologne, Germany, have announced an exciting partnership. Look forward to the upcoming release of the first single "Freakstreet" from the forthcoming album "Schattenläufer," scheduled to drop this autumn.

TEVALIK had its beginnings in the solo music project Niohbium, which achieved its first successes 17 years ago. After a hiatus, the project regrouped as a duo. TEVALIK's music blends classic Darkwave elements with futuristic Synthpop, resulting in dynamic and danceable melodies.

In addition to the musical collaboration, the visual aspect is being emphasized – fitting and atmospheric music videos are expected to underscore TEVALIK's artistic range.

VOUL was founded by Volker Bedra (music production) and Ulf Müller (lyrics & shouting) and is based on a long-standing musical friendship. VOUL move in genres like Electro, Dark Electro, Darkwave, Electro Pop and others.

In 2017, PORN released their third album “The Ogre Inside - Act I”, the first act of a trilogy based on the enigmatic character Mr Strangler. In 2019, the band released the second act of its trilogy, “The Darkest Of Human Desires – Act II”. Now, on March 27th, 2020, PORN return with the final act: “No Monsters In God's Eyes – Act III”.

After collaborating with Tom Baker (responsible for the mastering of legendary albums like Marilyn Manson's “Antichrist Superstar”, NIN's “Downward Spiral”, Ministry's “Psalm 69” or Rob Zombie's “Hellbilly Deluxe”), PORN entrusted Brian Lucey (Magic Garden Studio in Los Angeles) with the mastering of this album. Lucey previously worked with Ghost, Marilyn Manson, Depeche Mode, Arctic Monkeys, Royal Blood ...

PORN have released several singles from the new album in the past couple of months and the new single for the track "Low Winter Hope, Pt.2" will be published on feb, 21st along with a music video.

What is the difference between a charming smile and a broad grin? The finesse, the latent subtleness, the secrecy and the not quite obvious. In this sense, the title “SMILE” of the new THE WIDE album is a time travel into the subconscious, musically floating between dream pop and indie rock, soundwise perfectly balanced, almost like its very own genre in a musical cosmos divided into categories.

Originating from Mönchengladbach / Germany, the band goes beyond musical boundaries with their second album (following the debut album “Paramount”, 2018). The five musicians from Scotland, England, Switzerland and Germany see themselves as crossover artists who come together again and again like attracted by a magnet to create a homogenous, room-filling sound with every tune and every note of their songs.

The German alternative electro artist MERRY CHICKLIT has released a number of digital singles and an album entitled "Frau und Technik" in recent years. As part of the current collaboration with the ECHOZONE label, all upcoming releases will now appear and distributed via BOB-MEDIA.

With the club edition of "Mein Weg", a previously released song will be released on September 16th as a completely new version including an extensive remix package as well as a video clip. The club edit as the opener of the EP / single is much more danceable, but keeps its slightly wacky style and charm, whereas the "Imperfexion Remix" starts off really rocky and then swings back into a trippy-groovy sound in the "Tide Studio London Remix". The "Khalid AX Remix" turns everything upside down again with an industrial-experimental sound and clearly takes the previously mentioned wacky character to the extreme.

More singles will be released in the coming months, which will then become part of the forthcoming new album, which is scheduled for release in spring 2023, also on physical CD.

Following the release of the first single “Heile Segen” (True Blessing) for the tour with MAERZFELD in May of this year, HEMESATH release their new album “So Schön” (So Beautiful) on October 7th.

Musically the new songs tie in with the previous album “Für Euch” (For You), but also go a considerable step further in every aspect. By now, the band has long shed the limitations of the so-called “Neue Deutsche Härte” (New German Hardness) and demonstrates that hard German rock music can do more than just beat and thrash.

All in all, “So Schön“ (So Beautiful) proves that rock music with German lyrics can be exciting, energetic as well as emotional and, in the end, offers lots of fun.

On February, 26th Soulimage are gonna publish their new single „Imperium“ via Echozone to set the stage and fire up the mood for their upcoming album.

Mastermind Rob E. Soul’s quintet stays true to its previous musical development. In comparsion to the last album „Human Kind – Animal Mind“ the new song has an additional proper pinch of heavy metal influences thrown into the mix, nonetheless Soulimage never neglect the electronic, grooving foundation that has always formed their style.

The result is a kick-ass mixture of steamrolling guitars and melodic synthies with Rob’s voice being the familiar bond that keeps it all together. It will immediatly find its way into the listeners‘ ears and necks. the Spanish electro-project Cyborgdrive contributes, as so often, a successful remix version of the single song. The single’s flip side consists of a re-recording of „Generator“, building a bridge to the band’s eralier musical creations and bringing them up to speed.

The original track from the album „The Whole Universe“ is dominated by synthies, the re-recording is much more rocking while maintaining the groove that makes the song so great. While being a bit slower than „Imperium“, the song is still a beast of its own that has nothing to hide. It perfectly demonstrates the band’s ability to combine elements from different styles and make it their own. „Raining Blood“, the third song, is the finishing touch.

As a ballad comprised of nothing but piano and vocals it is musically as far from the other two songs as can be but thanks to Rob’s prominent voice it still is infused with the distinctive Soulimage vibe and a testament to the band’s range.
